She flew off to the US in search of a degree in marine biology, but that was never to be. Instead, she left the Florida shores with a BA in Linguistics, and headed to Japan to teach English to sleepy students. Two years later, she took the Trans-Siberian to Moscow and a plane to London where she'd find several jobs to pay for her rent. After a year of many rainy days and hot English breakfasts, she decided to go back to her hometown of Rome, Italy where her family and friends live. She loves dining out, dancing till 7am and flannel pajamas, and recently got married....
She has visited 144 cities and 27 countries, and will never stop counting.

Out of Africa, Into Italy
Rung Pung is an inter-disciplinary and multicultural musical project, the brain-child of Senegalese musician BADARA SECK in which Africa and Europe get together on the common ground that is music.
Seck is a charismatic and generous artist inspired by his own vision of the world, born of his African roots and his own experience, shared with other musicians, of combining music and creativity. It is why he wanted to provide this opportunity for performers and others from different ethnic backgrounds to get together and communicate with each other. The thread that runs throughout the entire event is the journey undertaken by the new Euro-Africans who are now an intrinsic part of the rich urban and multicultural tapestry of Italian life today.
